Cambodian Festival Chaos- Another Good Reason to Justify Xenophobia

Yoyogi Park's Spring Culture Festival Series has been quite violent this year. There were three fights and several small skirmishes at the Cambodian festival this weekend. The biggest involved six men beating a Kurdish national for reasons that vary based on whom you asked.

"You cannot treat my people like this!"
were the only English words, Kamal Jazeeri kept repeating after he was accused of public masturbation.

While Japanese men publicly masturbating, often to completion on crowded trains is tolerated or ignored, foreign men doing it in a festival atmosphere outdoors, is not. These cultural differences are usually not clearly explained to new immigrants.

Kamal, now residing in Kawaguchi, kept shouting as a crowd of Japanese and Cambodian goons took cheap shots at him, and even kicked him in the head as he was on the ground. Kamal was later detained for his own safety and quietly released outside of town.

The flowing alcohol, unveiled Japanese women in swimwear, and high temperatures were highly offensive to newly arrived immigrants from repressed lands. It was a recipe for disaster. Record setting temperatures are expected this summer, this will probably spur more fisticuffs.

Kamal was fightin' mad. The witnesses to the violence wanted to know if it was justified.

After the 3 brawls, most festival goers had left in disgust.

My new friend, Kazuhide of North Tokyo, told me the inside poop,

"He was walking around, harassing the Japanese girls for a while. He said he was doing pick up stuff he learned from some dog trainer-pick up artist over there in the dog run. Mostly Japanese girls but some  cute Cambodian ones too. We asked him to leave a few times, but he kept coming back. Then he actually jacked off into a young woman's hair as she was eating.  I've since heard it was a huge, ropey load, too. Maybe gossip after the fact, but really horrible if true. She screamed and that's when my guys stepped in. All because of that foreign prick who can't hold his liquor, or see some homosexuals without blowing a gasket.  Next year's festival is up in the air....."

Kazuhide added, "What a piece of shit that Arab character is. The parks commission is already saying the next year's Cambodian Festival may be canceled due to violence. Shibuya always overreacts to this type of incident. They never think it through long term. We can police our own festivals. We had a couple of punch-ups earlier in the day, but the Saitama boys took care of it quickly and quietly.”.

Shirtless and meaning business, Saitama thug, "Tomochan",  is reprimanded by the boss after giving Kamal a vicious soccer kick to the skull as he lay helpless on the ground.

Tomochan's hoods want some more of Kamal.

"I didn't see, nothing, but the guys started taking off their shirts-that's what we Japanese guys do before we tussle, out of respect for our enemy's spirit. I heard he came on one Japanese girl here, or he stole something, It doesn't matter. I hate when foreigners do shit like that. It's just disrespectful to all Japanese men. I got in a few shots with my sock filled with coins. I got a bit carried away when I kicked his head on the ground, maybe. He better not come back here again, the fucking Arab.  Don't fuck with Japanese!"

Shunsuke  " Tomochan"  Tommori, 25 of Omiya.

Probably suffering a concussion, a small gang picks him up off the ground and holds Kamal right before he took a Superman punch to the jaw.

Kisaburo has seen the festivals going downhill since the foreigner influx in the mid 1990s.

Unseasonably warm temperatures of thirty degrees, high humidity, flowing alcohol, homosexuals, and a stage show with sexy girls and loud music make these foreign guys go nuts.

"The Middle Eastern fellow was hanging around, drinking beer for a few hours. Looked like he was up to no good, and he had a jacket over his crotch. I think he might have had his dirty cock out under it and might've been stroking himself. If that's what these pick up seminars are teaching, it's just a shame. The sight of waify, unveiled women must have set him off. In his country, the women are not so loose and can't even talk to the men. I guess he just couldn't handle it and it ended ugly. Very ugly."

In the true Kurdish warrior spirit, Kamal kept getting up even after hitting his head on the concrete from a Russian leg sweep and a punch to the back of the head.

Kamal's first time drinking alcohol and the openly gay stuff, were likely factors in his bad judgement and response with violence. He proved to have a good jaw and could take a good beat down from the Saitama toughs. It was a lesson in violence he won't soon forget.

In Kamal's defense, the sexy Pinoy dancers in bikinis on the “Beach Stage”, and the traditional Cambodian dance show on the main stage were enough to drive any straight man into a masturbatory frenzy.

Sweet baby Jesus!

Dazed and confused, in a final display of manhood, he is sucker punched one last time by the Cambodian peacemaker in the blue soccer jersey.

For many third world men, the scantily clad tramps and open displays of homosexual behavior, may have been too much, especially for a military aged man who's new to Japan. Hopefully he'll learn his lesson and move on. Let's say our prayers the Yoyoygi Park Spring Festival Series doesn't get shut down due to violence.

Saitama ruffians often come raise hell in Tokyo on warm weekends.

The fiery Japanese tempers continued to flare for at least an hour after Kamal's expulsion. There was a dark cloud and a sense another donnybrook could break out any moment, not a good atmosphere for Japanese families looking to enjoy Golden Week in the park.

Fuck Kamal! Fuck the yanquis! Fuck the foreigners and fuck the Cambodian festival with their lax security. I've got pancakes to eat.
